Chelyabinsk region is among few territories in Russia to carry out ecological researches and measures within or even ahead of the terms of Kyoto agreement.
While the bulk of the administrative activites on behalf of federal agencies is scheduled to the second half of 2005, 12 projects on greenhouse gas discharging reduction are already worked out by the state-owned regional energy-saving company `Energosberezhenie` on basis of it`s fundamental research made in 2003 - 2004.
`Energosberezhenie` believes that its plans will be confirmed by the federal officials and is ready to take part in all regional projects scheduled in the nearest future.
