Official visit of the Chelyabinsk region’s delegation has successfully come to the end in structure of delegation of the Ural federal district to Peking.

As agency "Ural-press-inform" was informed in the ministry of economic development of the Chelyabinsk region, South Ural delegation, headed by the first deputy governor of the Chelyabinsk region Vladimir Djatlov, has taken part in the Russian national exhibition within the framework of actions of Russian Year in China.

South Ural was presented in Peking by the «Miass machine-building factory», the National park of sports, tourism and productive leisure "Turgoyak", «Kopeysk machine-building factory», "Electro machine", Workshops of arts and crafts "LiK", Chelyabinsk State University.

Numerous meetings and negotiations have taken place between South Ural representatives and the Chinese enterprises. After than «Gold Beach» and OHS East Clinic-Oriental Health Solution have signed the report on intentions to create Russian-Chinese joint venture on construction and opening of the centers of traditional Chinese medicine in Chelyabinsk and Miass. The Kopeysk machine-building factory achieves arrangements for cooperation with three Chinese enterprises. The Chinese shops and the companies which sale of products made a suggestion to Workshops of arts and crafts "LiK". The Chelyabinsk state university took meetings with three Chinese high schools - partners.

The Chinese People’s Republic is one of the main economic partners of the Chelyabinsk region, stably occupying the first places on general commodity circulation. In 2005 the South Ural trade turnover with China has exceeded 660,5 millions US dollars, including export – 615 million, import – 45,5. The share of Chinese People’s Republic in the Chelyabinsk region foreign trade turnover is 10,51 percent.
