| As agency "Ural-press-inform" was informed in public corporation "CZF", today consumption of zinc in Russia makes only 500 grammas a year per head and annually increases for 10 percent. In Europe the similar index is made six kgs, in China – one and a half kg.
It is expected, that in 2006 internal consumption of zinc in Russia will make 168 thousand tons. At those domestic manufacturers - Chelyabinsk zinc factory and Vladicavcaz factory "Electrozinc" in aggregate will make less than 240 thousand tons. All over the world it will be made not less than 11 million tons of zinc, and it will be consumed - 12 million tons.
Now the prices for zinc have reached such level, that even “Dalpolymetall” which traditionally head for export ore concentrate to Southeast Asia and Japan, has concluded with the Chelyabinsk zinc factory the long-term contract on delivery of raw material.
It is supposed, that to the middle of 2008 supply and demand on ore concentrates will meet each other. The Chelyabinsk zinc factory in 2006 has got Kazakhstan company Novatsink which all made zinc concentrate - about 40 thousand tons a year - will deliver on “CZF” since January, first, 2007. The factory also will take part on December, 14, 2006 in competition on working of the Amur deposit in the Chelyabinsk region. Its stocks exceed one million tons. It will allow providing with raw material growing production nearest years.
